The WNY region celebrated jubilees on Saturday, Sept. 8. It was an eventful and joyous celebration for our five jubilarians and our sisters, Franciscan Associates, family members, and friends. S. Regina Gertrude Aman celebrated her 50th anniversary. Sisters Rose Therese DiGregorio, Joan Marie Dundon, Francis Anthony Sochor, and Marie Ella Thompson celebrated 70 years as a sister of St. Francis.
The Liturgy for our jubilarians was held in the St. Mary of the Angels’ chapel followed by a lovely reception. A delicious evening dinner with our jubilarians, leadership, and sisters capped the day’s jubilant celebration.
