The Padua Program
The schools, hospitals, universities and other Franciscan ministries integrate the values and teachings of Saints Francis and Clare into today’s organizational culture and decision-making. While everyone in a Franciscan organization is responsible for mission, it is the job of the Mission Officer to ensure these values become part of the organization’s day-to-day operations.
The Padua Program is a unique professional development opportunity for Mission Leaders/Officers. Designed through a partnership of the Sisters of St. Francis of the Neumann Communities and St. Bonaventure University’s Franciscan Institute, The Padua Program helps these staff members deepen their knowledge of Francis and Clare and then apply their Franciscan value system to contemporary challenges in today’s workplace.
The program takes place over an 18-month period with workshops at the beginning and conclusion, and Webinars, and individual and group mentoring via videoconference during the intervening months. Workshop 1: October 8-12, 2018. For more information and to register, click here.
