The winter edition of Juris, a publication of Duquesne University’s Law School, featured Sister Suzanne Susany, a non-traditional Duquesne Law alumna who was called to ministry in the Pittsburgh legal community. For most of her religious life, Sister Suzanne has ministered with Hispanics in Puerto Rico, Ohio, Georgia and presently in Pennsylvania. In 2010, Sister Suzanne strengthened her ability to serve immigrants by earning a law degree from Duquesne University School of Law. Today, she assists people in need through her ministry at the Community Justice Project in Pittsburgh where she specializes in immigration law.
