Congratulations, S. Jane Bourne!
By S. Laurita Kelly OSF
On Monday, October 13, 2025, I had the pleasure of being a guest at the Gingerbread House and Preschool for a celebration honoring S. Jane Bourne as the founder of this sponsored ministry. Executive Director David Cole gave a beautiful tribute to Sister as he dedicated the center’s gym to her, where her name is on the wall. After a standing ovation, S. Jane gave a wonderful response, acknowledging all the Sisters and Staff who were part of her remarkable legacy.
It was so lovely to be greeted by staff members we had ministered with so many years ago. It was a delight to share memories with them as we enjoyed a very nice luncheon followed by a tour of the Gingerbread House by David.
What a great tribute to S. Jane. Congratulations! I am so proud to have been a part of this very special event.
