This year’s Franciscan Federation Annual Conference celebrated the 20th Anniversary of the publishing of the Franciscan Sources in three volumes: The Saint, The Founder, The Prophet. Sister Jane Bourne was our honoree this year for her contributions as “founder.” She is the foundress of two ministries, Gingerbread House Preschool and Child Care Center as well as Nun Better Chocolate and Custom Gift Baskets, both in Syracuse, N.Y. Sister Jane Bourne says she is grateful for God’s divine providence which has guided her in creating these ministries in response to the need of the times.
