Sister Alicia Damien Lau was recently honored with a proclamation from the House of Representatives in the state of Hawaii “for her many years of kind, loving service to the Hansen’s disease patients of Kalaupapa, Molokai.” We join Hawaii’s state representatives in celebrating Sister Alicia for “consistently going above and beyond her duties to ensure the highest quality of life for her patients and others in the community.”
