Second/multiple child discount
A sibling discount applies to multiple children according to the tuition charts when the youngest child pays the full rate. The discount always applies to the oldest child’s tuition.
Late pick up fee (all age groups)
Late pick up after 5:45 p.m. is an additional $15 for the first 15 minutes after 5:45 p.m. After 6 p.m., each additional 15 minute period (or part of a period) is $15. Late pick up fees are due at the time of pick up.
Mount Alvernia strives to maintain a safe, nurturing environment for all children and to keep tuition rates reasonable for families. However, certain minimum requirements are needed to allow us to meet the required state staffing levels.
When you enroll your child you will be given a contract for services. Fees are usually reviewed each July. Payment for the week is due on Fridays. You may pay in advance. Please contact the Director if you have any questions about the payment options.
The minimum contract is 3 days per week for all children. If your child is unable to attend any of those three days, you must still pay for the days since we must still pay for the staffing. If your child is scheduled for 5 days per week and is absent, you will pay tuition at the appropriate 4 day or 3 day weekly rate for your child’s category. If your child is scheduled for 4 days per week and is absent, you will pay tuition at the appropriate 3 day weekly rate for your child’s category.
Tuition payment is due weekly or biweekly unless other arrangements have been made. If payment is not made, you will have two weeks to make other arrangements for the care of your child in another facility.
