During Chapter, I often looked out the same window. One morning, the sky was cloudy, and everything outside looked quiet, dull, and gray. The trees seemed tired, and the bricks of the nearby houses looked faded. It felt like the world had lost its color. A few days later, the sun appeared and when I looked out that same window, I was surprised. The bricks shone with golden light, the leaves were a rich green, and even the air seemed to sparkle. The scene outside had not changed. It was the same trees, the same houses. But the light had returned, and with it came beauty.

This experience reminded me of how Christ works in our hearts. Jesus once said, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.” (John 8:12) His presence is like sunlight. It helps us see clearly. It reveals what has always been there, but with new meaning and deeper hope.
My ministry today is quiet and simple. I do not preach or lead large events. I perform everyday tasks, basic routines, and small acts of care. Although these things might seem unnoticed, I realize that Jesus uses them. Just by being present, showing kindness, listening, or giving time to someone, His light shines through. It is not about being dramatic or impressive. It’s about being faithful.
Jesus teaches us that holiness isn’t only found in great works. It is also present in quiet moments. Just as light brings out the colors in a familiar view, His love reveals goodness in the simplest things. A warm meal, a gentle smile, a patient word, these things carry grace. Even when the tasks seem repetitive or the day feels gray, Jesus brings meaning to our ordinary lives.
Every time I looked out that window, I was reminded of this truth. Ministry does not have to be busy or large. Often, it is calm, hidden, and silent. Light does not change what is there, it helps us notice it. Our quiet presence helps others see God’s love. When we serve with love, we reflect Christ’s love. And when we trust that even small acts matter, we begin to see how deeply God is working.
Even when I feel invisible, I know Jesus is near. His light may enter softly, without fanfare, but it brings healing and life. It fills empty spaces. It lifts burdens. And it carries us forward, step by step, through every season.
