Change A Heart Franciscan Volunteer Program Commissions New Members

Five young adults will be commissioned into the 2019-20 Change A Heart Franciscan Volunteer Program on Sunday, Aug. 25 in the Chapel at The Waters of Wexford. We are excited to welcome and bless them into the community of the Sisters of St. Francis of the Neumann Communities. These young people come to us from across the country — from as far as Tacoma, Washington and as close as Slippery Rock, Pennsylvania. On Saturday they will meet each other in Pittsburgh and begin their year-long journey living in intentional community while growing in their faith and awareness of the social injustices in our neighborhoods.
